Takeshi Komatsubara

Takeshi is a design thinking thought leader with a long-standing enterprise software sales background. At WiL, he oversees our LP relationships and WiL’s portfolio support as well as sales/business development/GTM for both the US and Japan teams.

Prior to joining WiL, he was with SAP Japan in 2008 as the global account manager for High Tech and Process Industry for 7 years. He moved to SAP's Silicon Valley Labs in 2015 as the principal of their Global Innovation Office. He helped Japanese customers re-think through digital transformation. Takeshi has hosted and engaged with more than 3,000 leaders of Japanese companies. Earlier in his career, Takeshi was a sales representative at Hitachi.

He is a Design Thinking columnist for the Nikkei Industrial Newspaper. He holds a a BA in Law & Politics from Keio University in Japan.
