I was born and raised in China, studied and worked in Japan and the US
Jean joined WiL in 2020 as Director of Corporate Innovation. She is keen to bridge startups and large corporations and add value to both.
Jean brings to WiL a combination of corporate and entrepreneurial experiences. Previously, Jean worked on cross-border joint venture projects at Mitsui for 5 years. She also worked at Plug and Play Tech Center on incubation programs for early-stage startups. In addition, Jean has operational experience working at startups in cybersecurity and blockchain.
Jean holds a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Public Policy, University of Tokyo, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is also a trilingual with understanding of both Japan and China markets.
